*** SAVE THIS EMAIL FOR FUTURE REFERENCE ***

YOU WILL NEED TO INCLUDE YOUR IPG VENDOR REGISTRATION NUMBER: 20160908 WHEN SUBMITTING A BID TO STATE OF ILLINOIS

2. I'm not sure if I received the above email. Is there another way to know if I'm registered in the IL Procurement Gateway (IPG)?

Click on Registered Vendor Directory on the IPG homepage. Search for your Business Name. If your company does not appear in the search results, then you are not registered in the IPG.

3. I didn't receive the above email and I didn't find my company in the Registered Vendor Directory. How do I register?

There are two steps to completing your IPG application.

The first is to set up a System Account. Create a User Name and password (aka Create an Account).

  1. Click on Vendor Registration on the IPG homepage.
  2. Click on Create Account under Option 1

The second step is to complete your State of Illinois Registration questionnaire. Complete the State of IL Vendor Registration.

  1. Login with your User Name and password
  2. Complete Forms A. – I.
  3. Add NIGP Codes
  4. Sign and Submit

4. When I Create an Account and enter my Tax ID #, I receive a Warning that the information exactly matches a vendor in the system. Has someone taken my Tax ID? Does this mean I'm registered in the IPG?

No, you have not registered in the IL Procurement Gateway. If you find your company in the Account Lookup, then your company may have previously registered in another vendor portal that uses the same software provider.

5. When I do an Account Lookup and enter my Tax ID # or email address, I see my business in the Search Results. Does this mean I'm registered in the IPG?

No, you have notregistered in the IL Procurement Gateway. However, you may have a system account that you created in another vendor portal (such as the City of Chicago's Compliance and Certification portal) which uses the same software.

6. I've forgotten my password. What should I do?

If you've forgotten your password, then click on "Forgot Password" on the IPG home page. You will receive a temporary password via email. Please wait for the email to arrive and do not reset the password again before receiving the email.

7. I used "Forgot Password" to reset my password but have not received an email with the temporary password. So, I reset my password again and still no email with a temporary password. What do I do now?

If you have tried using the "Forgot Password" feature and still have not received an email with a password reset, click on the "Contact Us" link and submit an online Help Ticket. You should receive a response within 24 hours.

8. I submitted my application. How long before I receive a reply on my application?

We are processing the registrations as quickly as possible. In the event your registration is not approved by the time you need to submit a bid or proposal, make sure to submit paper forms following the instructions stated in each solicitation to assure your bid/proposal is compliant. Failure to do so may render the submission non-responsive and result in disqualification.
